Because there is no special team to monitor the activity for each class, the class teacher is going to monitor all her students’ activity in the classroom, including videotaping the presentation.
The tools for videotaping doesn’t have to be  sophisticated, a good cell phone will do.
This activity will only be conducted in one session only, so please ask your students to prepare the necessary things beforehand.
LIA is not providing all materials needed for making the wall bulletin, so students are going to contribute for all additional materials, e.g. carton board, pictures, or stuff for the wall bulletin decoration.
EC levels are excluded.
Should you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact MsVe.

Thank you sooo much for your cooperation xD

Note: this contest is for LIA Tendean students only

The Rainbow sandwiches in EC-2 Cooking class

Ms. Ina

On Friday afternoon, 2 March 2012, EC-2 students Friday-Saturday class did a cooking class in LIA-Tendean teacher’s room. There were 11 students, Chyra, Saffra, Eka, Gadang, Najwaa, Anin, Nanda, Farrel, Fina, Adrian, and Ishma accompanied by Ms. Ina. For this class, we chose the most favorite food ever which needed a high ability in cooking, a Rainbow sandwich. The ingredients are bread, butter, cheese, chocolate sprinkles, and strawberry jam.

The Ingredients

How to make it?
We are EC 2, Rainbow sandwich ! xD

  • -        First spread butter on your bread or munch some of itJ
  • -        Next choose two of your favorite fillings.
  • -        Then, fold it. So this is it! The best rainbow sandwich is in your handJ.
  • The students really enjoyed it even though there was a tiny chocolate sprinkles incident when Anin didn’t get the chocolate sprinkles but we really had some funJ.

- After being great chefs, we were washing our hands. “Clean little hands are good to enjoy the rainbow sandwichJ”.

Here they are...after making the rainbow sandwich..

Exploring Technology

There is nothing wrong to ask our student about a new technology. A teacher must be technology savvy, right?
One day, when I assigned my Intermediate students to create some powerpoints, I saw one of them was using different kind of ppt font..curious as I was..I then asked him what kind of program he was using..and he said..
I'm using Prezi, ma'am...than he showed me some examples of powerpoints using prezi...and..I was totally impressed! I tried it out the next day..

visit : www.prezi.com

Afterwards, I tried to make some works using the tools there...well...the result was...lol...not quite bad...XD

why don't you try it out yourself? it will bring a new dimension in making a presentation...

Playing with photoscape

A student of mine poisoned me with this kind of 'Virus'..hehe...but then, I find it very interesting to try out playing with pictures..you can even put caption on them..I personally think that this can be one of the tools to create an activity in the class..

Here are some of the results..( I happen to use my fellow teachers as the objects, hope they don't mind..;-p)

And after several attempts..here is the best I can have...

Not bad, huh?

Still curious and bewildered at the same time? Let's check out the tutorial..enjoyyyy!!!! xD
